Written permission could take up to 10 business days. Operating agricultural vehicles and equipment across Cenovus pipeline right-of-ways is permitted for the purposes of normal farming operations, such as plowing, cultivation, planting and harvesting.
If equipment falls outside normal farming operations, Cenovus must be contacted to determine whether it can safely cross the right-of-way. Cenovus identifies the location of its pipelines with above ground markers and provides information to the public, first responders and government agencies about how to work safely on or near this infrastructure.
